What is the difference between an author and a synced author?
Synced authors are team members with profiles in the Recruitment app who appear as consultants on the website and contribute content to the media hub (i.e. they have one profile across both apps). This is common where you have a recruitment consultant sharing their expertise in a specific sector. A synced author profile is set up in the Recruitment App (see Creating a New Consultant )
An author is a profile created in Media Hub solely for content creation but they do not appear on your website. An author is set up in Media Hub (see Authors)
How do I sync my authors?
1. Both the media hub and recruitment app are linked meaning anytime you set up a consultant within the recruitment app, an identical "Author" profile is generated within the media hub. This is designed to save you countless hours that would otherwise be spent making two profiles for every consultant.
2. You can see then see synced authors within Media Hub by navigating to the 'Authors' section on the left-hand menu of the Media Hub

How do I remove a synced author?
To remove a synced author from the media hub. Simply delete the consultant's profile from the recruitment app. This will then trigger the profile to be removed from the media hub.
1. Go to the Recruitment App

2. Navigate to the 'Consultants' section on the left hand side menu
3. Select 'View Profile' of the consultant you want to remove
4. Click the Bin icon in the top right hand corner to delete the consultant. This will remove them from the recruitment app and the media hub
