If you want to remove a media item
from your website so it no longer shows, you
have two options of doing this - disabling or
deleting.
Disabling an Item
If you want to remove an item from
your website temporarily or don't want to
completely delete it, you can change the
publish status of your item to hide it from
view.
By changing the status from live to
staging using the save button, the item stays
available in the media hub but removes it from
being visible on your live website. Then if
you want to put it back on the website at any
point, you can just change the status back to
live without having to re-add the item
in.
Deleting an Item
If you want to delete an item and
are sure you won't need it again at any point
in the future, you can delete using the bin
icon next to the title in the table. This will
be a hard delete removing the item from the
website and cannot be undone.
